Welcome to Palmer Park Velo

Operating in the West Thames area, Palmer Park Velo is a unique cycling club catering for children between the ages of 4 and 18. Rider ability varies from beginners to national and international standards. As well as track racing the club covers all aspects of cycling including road racing and mountain biking. The club was formed to cater for very young children and now has over 100 members.

It is run entirely voluntarily by a combination of British Cycling qualified coaches, and committed parents all of who's children are current or ex-members. If you join us and feel you can make a commitment to help please step forward.

There are training sessions most Saturday mornings throughout the year. The Fixed Wheel track session from 09:00 - 11:00 and the Free Wheel session from 11:00 - 12:30. Details can be found in the Forthcoming Events list.

You do not need to own a bike as we can provide one for the training sessions within the session cost, currently £3 (members). A helmet and track-mits or gloves, are the only items that are compulsory for participation in a session.

Should you require any further information please Contact Us or better still come along and see the fun for yourself...
